About
Brighamia insignis, also known as the Hawaiian Palm, is an attractive houseplant with a rosette of glossy, vivid green leaves on a short palm-like trunk. This species is almost extinct in its natural habitat due to the declining numbers of its moth pollinator. The Hawaiian Palm has a reverse growing season, meaning it remains dormant in the summer and grows again in the winter, producing scented yellow flowers in November when in the right conditions. A rare, beautiful and undemanding houseplant.
Growing lipstick plants is not difficult, and with proper care you get rewarded with continuous flowers.
