About
This Fishbone Cactus named after it's stunning zig-zag or fishbone like leaves, it also produces beautiful nocturnal scented flowers. It is an epiphyte, which means that it grows on other plants. However, it uses the other plant only for support. It is a wild looking large plant with leaves growing in all directions!
Plant Care
Fast growing and easy to look after. Prefers bright, indirect light. It doesn’t grow well in direct sun. This plant would normally receive light filtered through dense overhanging tree branches in the jungles of Mexico.
Water regularly during summer. Water the plant thoroughly until water drains from the bottom of the pot. Allow the soil to become slightly dry before you water the plant again. Excessive watering can cause damage to the root. From spring through fall, water the plant every two weeks. Mature plants can survive even if they are watered sparingly during winter. Feed monthly, only during spring and summer months.
