The Moon Valley Pilea (Pilea Mollis) is an statement plant; a member of the Urticaceae family, it is a South American native. It's distinctive and textured, ridged leaves are very striking; typically a bright yellow-green with dark copper veins. The leaves will grow to about two inches in length.
Care
Light: Bright, indirect light is best however they can tolerate some lower light levels.
Water: Water when top 3-4 cm of soil becomes dry. Feed every 4 weeks from spring to early autumn with a nitrogen based fertiliser.
Humidity: Likes a moist environment - a bathroom is ideal, otherwise misting often will be just as good.
