About
A beautiful flowering indoor plant prized for its shiny foliage and interesting flowers. It gets its name because the bright red flower buds peek out of dark-coloured tubes, like a miniature tube of lipstick. They are easy plants to grow and you can be rewarded with almost continual flowers. They are epiphytes from Malaysia which in the wild grow in the branches or crevices of other trees.
Growing lipstick plants is not difficult, and with proper care you get rewarded with continuous flowers.

Plant Care
- Light: bright but not direct sunlight. Choose a spot next to a south or west-facing window to hang the plant, and place a sheer curtain between the plant and the window.
- Water: Allow the top of the soil to dry out between watering. Keep the soil drier during the winter and it will result in more profuse blooming in the spring and summer.
