The Alocasia Wentii is a purple-y, dark green version of the Elephant Ears plant from New Guinea. In summer, it can grow a new leaf every week, sometimes twice the size of the previous week's growth. It is a sensitive plant and needs attentive care, especially in the winter.
Care
Light: A bright room, but indirect sunlight. Brighter light will earn you larger leaves.
Water: Alocasias hate wet feet, but they hate to dry out, too -- you'll see the stalks droop if it gets too thirsty. Keep moist at all times.
