About
The beautiful leaves of the Prayer Plant look as if they've been painted rather than grown. It gets its name from its unusual supplicating motion -- this plant will open and spread itself out during the day, but as soon as it starts to get dark, it withdraws all of its leaves and points straight up.

Care

Light: Diffused light.
Water: Keep soil damp at all times, but definitely do not allow the plant to sit in water or in very wet soil. Think little and often as a watering policy.
Humidity: High humidity levels are a must. Stand on a wet pebble tray to improve humidity and mist frequently. Good in a shower room.
Temperature: This plant hates a draft, and needs to be kept warm at all times.
